Hai!! Today, I'm going to write about Internet. This topic is quite interesting and nowadays it become important in our life. People will use internet for many things such as for communicate with others, for search information and so forth. Of course we know what the uses of internet but do we know the history of internet??
Internet is about network or computer network and the largest network in the world that connects people or organization all over the world. Sometimes, Internet will called global. Internet has been started in 1969 and as known as ARPANET ( used in California). In 1980, ARPANET was renamed as Internet.
There are 6 services on the internet. The first one is EMAIL. It is a electronic mail that can used to create, receive, send and store email.

The second internet service is Web. Web has created by Tim Berners Lee and sometimes it known as 'www'. It contains hypertext link or highlighted keywords and images that lead to related information.

The third internet service is Transfer Protocol. It use computer to move the file from one computer to another on the internet by using Hypertext Transfer protocol (HTTP) and File Transfer Protocol (FTP). The fourth internet services is Chat room. It allows people to communicate with others like Facebook and Friendster. Next, VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) or Internet Telephony is the one of internet services. People uses it to speak with others like Skype and Facebook Video Call. The last one is News Groups which is an electronic forum that conduct discussion about specific topic.
We also learnt about Uniform Resource Locators (URL). This is an address of web site. There are four part of URL. There are transfer protocol, domain name, the path name and the name of the file. Domain name is the name of the organization or people while the path name is the website name. That's all for this topic and this topic is not difficult to understood.
